This time we did a shooting inspiring us in the Bauhaus movement. This quoting you explain briefly what is the movement for you to consider that we have been inspired to make photos.
"The period between 1924 and 1928 was the most significant in the development of the Bauhaus. The Dutch De Stijl movement founded by artist and architect, Theo van Doesburg was particularly influential during this time. De Stijl advocated the use of flat primary colours, rectangular forms and straight, horizontal and vertical (never diagonal) lines. In 1922, Van Doesburg taught a course at the Bauhaus and these De Stijl principles are clearly reflected in the stark simplicity and functionalism of much of the Bauhaus output after that. It is interesting to note that a Bauhaus building in the 'international style' can be seen as a three dimensional version of a painting by Dutch artist and De Stijl member, Piet Mondrian.Despite the fact that it lasted for only fourteen years, the legacy of the Bauhaus endures and its principles can be seen in much of what we think of today as contemporary or modern design, whether it's in the homes we live in or the typography we use. En esta ocasión hicimos un shooting inspirandonos en el movimiento Bauhaus. En este entrecomillado os explico brevemente en que consiste el movimiento para que tengáis en cuenta en que nos hemos inspirado para realizar las fotos. "El período comprendido entre 1924 y 1928 fue el más importante en el desarrollo de la Bauhaus. El movimiento holandés De Stijl, fundada por el artista y arquitecto, Theo van Doesburg fue especialmente influyente durante este tiempo. De Stijl abogó por el uso de colores primarios planas, formas rectangulares y líneas rectas, horizontales y verticales (nunca diagonales). En 1922, Van Doesburg impartió un curso en la Bauhaus y De Stijl estos principios se refleja claramente en la simplicidad austera y funcionalismo de gran parte de la salida de Bauhaus después de eso. Es interesante señalar que un edificio Bauhaus en el "estilo internacional" puede ser visto como una versión tridimensional de una pintura del artista holandés y miembro de De Stijl, Piet Mondrian.A pesar de que duró sólo catorce años, el legado de la Bauhaus perdura y sus principios se puede ver en gran parte de lo que consideramos hoy como un diseño contemporáneo o moderno, ya sea en las casas en las que vivimos o la tipografía que utilizamos .
